Veridical Legal
Coached-fraud detection for mass tort lead qualification, grounded in the neuroscience of memory. A scoring framework that separates real claimants from rehearsed deception, and tells the call center agents and paralegal exactly why a call was flagged.
Mass tort lead fraud got professional.
Mass tort lead fraud has moved from amateur misrepresentation to organized, professionally coached deception. A coached claimant in 2026 sounds credible: the specifics, the rehearsed emotional beats, trained to populate exactly the fields a qualification call checks.
That's the structural failure. The standard call, a verbal questionnaire run by an offshore call center, exists to fill fields, the same fields a coaching script manufactures. Verify they're filled and consistent, and you certify the content the coaching produced. The result: claims that pass qualification but fail paralegal review at twenty to forty percent in the most targeted torts, at the firm's expense.
Coaching transfers facts. It cannot transfer the memory.
Veridical Legal starts from cognitive neuroscience: coaching can drill the facts, but it can't manufacture the texture of genuine experience, the incidental, peripheral detail a real claimant carries and a script never contains. That gap is detectable. How we detect it is proprietary. What matters to a firm is that it holds up exactly where a fields-based questionnaire fails.
A calibrated, defensible score. Not a checklist.
The output is a calibrated probability that a claim is coached, not a checklist pass and not a vibes-based rating. That gives a triage workflow defensible thresholds, and it shows why a call is anomalous, so two different fraud patterns aren't treated the same. The scoring methodology is proprietary.
It is also self-correcting: as confirmed-fraud labels accumulate, it adapts to evolving coaching patterns. Fraud rings are adversarial, so the instrument has to be a living one.
It also tells the call center agents and paralegal what to ask next.
The score also tells the team what to ask next. A per-tort question generator extends the framework into a library of probe questions, follow-up sequences, and disqualifying conditions tuned to each active tort.
That turns a passive screen into an active interview assistant: reviewing a flagged call, the team sees follow-up questions ranked by discriminative power, each with the rationale for why a coached claimant would struggle. The disqualification decision stays with the paralegal.
MVP in development.
Veridical Legal is being built now on SprintiQ Turbo. The foundation is cognitive neuroscience; the deliverable is a paralegal-grade triage instrument with per-tort question generation.

Each one built on SprintiQ, each one a different proof of what the practice can do.
A hard problem
that needs a real method.
